Donkey Derby

Its more than 50 years since Farnborough’s first Donkey Derby

But…Farnborough’s 2011 Donkey Derby rolls into town on 30th May.

As usual it promises to be a great day out for young and old, in fact its always a great day out for all families.

Here is the basic information:

It will be held at King George Vth Field, Sycamore Road, Farnborough

Entry by programme: £1.50 (Adult) £1 (Child)

Organised by the Rotary Clubs of Farnborough, Rushmoor and Blackwater Valley

This is a very loose programme for 2011 which is subject to change.

12.00 Noon – Gates Open

12.45              Donkey Race 1
1.30    Baby Show (0-9months) – Registration from 1pm
1.30                Donkey Race 2
2.00    Children’s Entertainer – Magic Show
2.15                Donkey Race 3
2.30    Baby Show (10-18 months)  – Registration from 2pm
3.00                Donkey Race 4
3.30    Children’s Entertainer – Punch and Judy
3.45                Donkey Race 5
4.25    Prize draw (complete form at back of programme)
4.35                Donkey Race 6
5.30                Close

There will be stage performances as well..
